Bonanza & Son (ResonanceFM) Presents
'The Gaslight’ @ Filthy MacNasty's.
FOLK, AMERICANA & ROOTS FOR THE 21ST CENTURY
MUSIC•ART•LITERATURE•FILM•CULTURE

A brand new ‘Café-Art night' from Bonanza & Son…

Named after, and taking it’s inspiration from, the famous Greenwich Village Café, The Gaslight Club which was a favourite haunt of the young Bob Dylan and where he premiered early songs such as ‘Masters Of War’.

The Kilcawley Family:
A welcome return for the Brother & Sister duo and anachronistic, Americana aficionados, The Kilcawley Family. These simmering, siblings are nothing less than a Hillbilly phenomena. Theirs is an authentic, pre-war, Country sound with a Gothic edge in the vein of The Carter Family or Jimmy Rogers on a Bonnie & Clyde collision course with Vampira and The Adams Family… All with a rocket from the crypt and a rocket from the tombs up their jacksy! Yeeeeeee haaaaaa indeed!

Run Devil Run Unleaded:
Two integral parts of the Rockabilly-Country-Rock ’n’ Roll powerhouse that is Run Devil Run will tonight take it down-home and dirty acoustic. They will have you screaming for your souls at the crossroads but you’ll be dancing your asses off by the end of their set. Yeeeee haaaa indeed

+ Film Screenings:
All manner of weird and wonderful rock ’n’ Roll celluloid artefacts will be screened all night as a backdrop for your visual pleasure.

+ Guest dj Nortronica:
Expect Retro, Fuzzy-Felt Folk and Avant-Americana from this music aficionado.

+ Bonanza & Son DJ set (ResonanceFM)
10 decades of Volk-Music and recent, vinyl-curio acquisitions!

& finally we are very excited to announce that Friday we jet off to Belgium for a weekend of DJing at The Muddy Roots Festival… Jubilee? What fucking Jubilee?

A busy Bonanza week then and not a piece of Union Flag bunting in sight!
